  • Worked as a summer trainee in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Division of National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India for the period of two months on the project titled " Study of TATA BOX Mutations in Eukaryotic Transcriptional Regulation" under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh Tuli (Scientist-G).
  • Worked as a project JRF in one year project entitled " Screening of marine microbes from salterns of Goa for bioactive compounds" at Department of Biotechnology, Goa University, Goa.

Academic awards and Honours :

  • Qualified joint CSIR-UGC (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - University Grants Commission) National Eligibility test for Lecturer ship conducted CSIR-UGC in june 2004(Roll No. 325989).

  • Abstract published, as first author at Conference on Microbiology of the Tropical Seas at National Institute of Oceanography, Goa on the topic "Solid Substrate Fermentation for production of Endoxylanase by a Marine Isolate of Aspergillus niger".
