   National Mineral Award to Kamesh Raju  
Dr KA Kamesh Raju, a senior scientist of NIO has received National Mineral Award-2007 for his significant contributions in the marine geophysics. He is one among 17 awardees during this year. Ministry of Mines, Govt of India has been recognizing contributions in the field of Geology and Geophysics in the form of National Mineral Awards.
