   Dr Samir Damare, a scientist at NIO receives CSIR Young Scientist Award for the year 2010  
One of the recently recruited young scientists, Dr Samir Ravikant Damare has received CSIR Young Scientist Award in the field of Earth, Atmosphere, Ocan and Planetary Sciences on the occasion of CSIR Foundation Day on 26 September 2010 at New Delhi. The CSIR Young Scientist Award recognizes the inhouse talents across the laboratories in different disciplines. Dr. Damare is currently working as Scientist C with Dr. N. Ramaiah. He had also worked at NIO for his doctoral studies with Dr Chandralata Raghukumar and then a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Marine Biotechnology (IMaB), Germany for few years before joining NIO as a Scientist.
