Field experience:

Cruises: Participated in oceanographic cruises in Indian and international waters and have worked in North Sea, Malacca strait, Malaysian water, coastal waters of Mauritius, Maldive and Srilanka.

Scandinavia: Worked at North-sea centre, Denmark, Aquaculture institute Horsholm, Denmark, Austevol Aquaculture station, norway, Flodevigen Biological station , Arendal, Norway.

Europe: Participated in the Expo 98 at Lisbon, Portugal, Participated in the workshop on Nematode identification at Plymouth, England.

Russia: Under bilateral programme worked at Pasteur Institute on novel drugs from marine bivalves for pharmaceutical uses.

Teaching experience:

I have been teaching marine biology (ecology, Aquaculture, fishery biology) to post-graduate students of Goa university. Demonstration and practical classes to students and other catagories of people. Visiting professor to Central Institute of Fisheries education Mumbai, India and Fisheries college Mangalore, India.
